In September 2024, Skybridge law firm became the newest member of the National Aviation Association of Lithuania (LAVIA). Responding to the increasing opportunities in the Lithuanian aviation business, Skybridge has decided to join forces with LAVIA and reinforce its specialisation in aviation law.

Skybridge, with its strong background in business and commercial law, brings decades of experience and expertise to the aviation industry. The firm’s legal team is dedicated to providing not only aviation-related legal services but also risk management solutions to other business sectors. With this partnership, however, Skybridge aims to contribute to the growth and development of Lithuania’s aviation industry through its deep understanding of legal frameworks.

“We are thrilled to join LAVIA, which unites leading companies in Lithuania’s aviation sector. Its role in shaping the country’s aviation strategy as well as efforts to foster continuous growth align with our own mission. We couldn’t be more excited about collaborating with like-minded professionals,” said Dovile Aukstuolyte-Kapp, lawyer at Skybridge.

Skybridge’s team is passionate about the aviation market’s dynamic evolution, as Milda Smitaite, another lawyer, added: “It’s crucial to monitor and support the constant changes within the sector. LAVIA’s work mirrors our values, and we are honoured to be part of a community focused on advancing aviation in Lithuania.” Furthermore, Smitaite’s personal passion for aviation, as a licensed pilot herself, adds an insightful, hands-on perspective to the firm’s legal expertise.

LAVIA’s chairman, Aleksandras Nemunaitis, emphasised the importance of the firm’s membership: “As the aviation sector in Lithuania continues to evolve, the demand for legal services tailored to the industry is increasing. We are pleased to welcome Skybridge to our association — yet another strong addition to our fast-expanding network.”

Founded in 2010, LAVIA unites Lithuanian aviation companies: Skyllence, Avion Express, KlasJet, AviaAM Leasing, Baltic Ground Services, FL Technics, BAA Training, Kazimieras Simonavicius University, Affidea, DRONETEAM, and now Skybridge. Active participation in developing the country’s aviation strategy is one of the association’s key roles. It also helps integrate members into the national transportation network, supports their independent service development, and ensures continuous industry growth.
