The National Aviation Association LAVIA unites aviation business
companies, registered in Lithuania, in order to ensure
stable growth and development of the sector.
Objectives of the Association
Member representation
Representation of the interests of the members
of the Association in public, Lithuanian, European
Union and other international institutions and
organisations.
Participation in legislation drafting
Taking part in the process of drafting legal
acts of Lithuania and the European Union that
may affect the activities of the members of the
Association. Organise discussions on such legislation,
form a common position and seek that it would be taken
into account when adopting legislation and/or amending it.
Encouragement of the growth of the sector
Promote the growth and digitisation of the
aviation sector. Raise awareness of the
value created by the sector.
About LAVIA
The National Aviation Association LAVIA, established in 2010, takes part in the creation and development of the Lithuanian aviation strategy on a national scale. The Association represents its members that are all aviation business (commercial air transportation, infrastructure, manufacturing and service provision) companies registered in the Republic of Lithuania. By strengthening the integration of its members in the field of transport, communication and the economy of the entire country, LAVIA helps its members to independently develop services and other provided activities as well as ensures the continuous growth and improvement of the sector.

Organising regular meetings with
representatives of the aviation
industry to discuss current
problematic aspects, goals,
issues.
Establishment of an Aviation Advisory
Council under the Ministry of Transport,
which would include representatives
of the aviation industry
Establishment of airport user committees
not only for VNOs but also for KUN and PLQ.
